Montessori Floor Bed with Rails – Full Size White Kids Bed

The night you take the crib rail down is a bigger moment than anyone warns you about. This full size Montessori floor bed in white makes it an easy one — low to the ground, fenced on all four sides, and roomy enough that you can lie down beside them until they drift off.

Is a floor bed actually safe?

It's the first thing most parents ask us. A floor bed removes the fall risk of a raised frame — there is nowhere to fall from. This one has four full, uncut 15.7" fence rails on every side, creating an enclosed sleep space your toddler can still step out of on their own.

The frame is solid pine, built sway-free for everyday use. Assemble fully before use, follow the included instructions, and supervise as with any children's furniture.

Will it fit the room?

The footprint is 77" long x 58.1" wide — about 6'5" x 4'10", roughly the floor space a standard full bed already takes. At just 15.7" tall it's the lowest bed we stock, which keeps sightlines open and makes a shared room feel bigger.

Takes a standard full mattress up to 6" thick, dropped straight inside the frame. No box spring, no bed base. Mattress not included.

How hard is it to put together?

About 20 minutes, one person, with the hex key in the box. It ships flat with all hardware, numbered parts and step-by-step instructions. No cutting, no drilling, nothing to source separately.

Why we built this store

We started Montesstorytime after our own child outgrew almost everything we bought. It flashed, it beeped, and within a week it was ignored in a basket. We wanted the shop we couldn't find — pieces chosen because they hold a child's attention, not because they're loud.

We're a new business, and we'd rather say so than pretend otherwise. What we can promise is what's on this page: real measurements, a delivery estimate we actually meet, free tracked shipping, and a straight answer if you email us.

If it isn't right

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. If anything arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, we cover the return shipping and make it right — send us a photo and we'll sort it. US orders ship duties paid, so there is nothing to pay when it arrives.
